When Your Routine Takes a Hike
Elephants are usually pretty predictable. They spend their days munching on plants, drinking water, and catching about four to five hours of sleep. Typically, they stick with their own kind—males and females chilling in separate groups. But this particular elephant had her own agenda entirely.
Instead of hanging with her herd, she decided to start digging a hole. She wasn’t looking for food or water; it was like she’d found a new pastime. For 11 hours straight, she kept at it, skipping her usual nap time. It was definitely out of the ordinary. This lady elephant was going against the grain, leaving everyone puzzled about what she was up to.
