She Just Couldn’t Quit
This elephant had developed an odd habit. She’d dig a little, pause for a moment, but you could see she was getting worn out. Her pace slowed, and though she seemed drained, she just didn’t quit! The villagers stayed back, watching with a mix of curiosity and concern.
They were clueless about what lay in the pit and couldn’t approach to find out. Everyone was tense since any wrong move might upset the elephant, which could spell trouble. Yet, they couldn’t shake off their worry about why she kept digging so relentlessly. What was driving her? This unanswered question left everyone puzzled.
