As time ticked by, more folks showed up to see what was going on. It was strange because elephants usually stick with their group, but this one had been left behind while her herd moved on. Normally, they don’t stray from the pack for long, so this situation was pretty weird. The big girl didn’t seem bothered about being alone; she just kept digging like crazy.
