A Proud Moment for the Villagers
After the villagers scooped out all the sand blocking the hole, they stepped aside. They even rolled the trucks away so she could get to the opening again. This kicked off their plan and let the mama elephant pull her little one out.
The folks gathered around felt pretty proud, knowing they’d all chipped in to help a worried mom. It was touching, especially since elephants usually see humans as a big danger. Even though she’d never realize they lent a hand, the villagers felt good about what they’d done. They knew they’d helped save a life.
