Jitendra and his adventurous gang had a golden opportunity to sneak a peek at the hole while she was busy chomping away. The real question was, did they have the guts to take the chance? Even when distracted, an elephant could be pretty scary. So, with caution, they approached the hole. Jitendra figured it would be smarter to go in small groups rather than all at once.
The first batch quietly made their way over, careful not to startle the elephant. When they finally got to the hole and looked in, what they saw blew their minds—something none of them expected at all. It left them all wondering why on earth the elephant had been digging so frantically.
