At last, the elephant just couldn’t take it anymore. After all that effort digging away, she simply plopped down from being totally wiped out. Nobody could really say if it was heatstroke or just plain fatigue, but there she was, stretched out on the ground.
But then, like a true hero, she got back on her feet and seemed ready to start digging again. That’s when she finally noticed all the treats lying around her. Suddenly aware of how hungry she was, she began to snack on the goodies the villagers had laid out to lure her away from her excavation project. Finally, their strategy seemed to be paying off! The people watching sighed with relief as they saw her enjoying the food, hoping this meant she’d stop digging for good.
