Jonathan Bennett, forever Aaron Samuels from “Mean Girls,” met former boy band member turned TV host Jaymes Vaughan in 2016 during a TV interview. That moment turned into something more, and by 2017, they were a couple. The two got engaged in 2020, with Jaymes writing and performing a custom song for the proposal.
In 2022, they tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in Mexico. They don’t have children yet, but have expressed their desire to grow their family. Both are active voices in the LGBTQ community, pushing for equal representation and celebrating queer love. They also became the first gay couple featured on the cover of “The Knot.”
