MC Hammer: Joined Army For An Unusual Reason
By now, you might have pointed out that most of the celebrities who had a working past with the army turned out to become super successful in their specific careers. Here comes another example of that – MC Hammer. Years before he started singing on those hip-hop tunes, Hammer was stricken with failure in studies and to get his life on track, he chose to enlist in the country’s Naval Force where he worked as a Petty Officer for 3 years.
Well, that sure was a wise decision, and by the way, MC means Master of Ceremonies (a bonus revelation!).
