Richard Pryor: Military Service Behind The Bars
This one is a rather interesting story! Despite being enrolled in the US army, the well-known stand-up comic didn’t actually do anything other than spending his term in prison. The reason that he was sent behind the military bars was attacking a white soldier who displayed a racist behavior, and apparently, the young guy and his other mates were not very impressed by him.
Thankfully, the incident was not fatal, and Richard didn’t have to stay imprisoned forever. After all, it would be a great loss for the industry to not have witnessed a talent like him!
