An Autobiography to the Rescue
To change people’s minds and redirect their faith is no simple task. Yet, Michael Oher made a last try to do so through his autobiography. Published in 2011, this book aimed to set the record straight on all of the untrue information that had been shown in the film, ‘The Blind Side.’
The title of Michael’s autobiography itself—‘I Beat the Odds: From Homelessness to The Blind Side and Beyond’—promises to clarify any doubts about his life. It accurately concludes every storyline that, in the author’s opinion, was not satisfactorily resolved in the film. Unsurprisingly, this book ended all criticisms.
