Can you believe that Sandra Bullock was initially hesitant to accept the award-winning role of the Tuohy matriarch? Yes, she even declined it many times after it was offered to her. That, however, happened until the actress had an actual conversation with Leigh Anne.
Julia Roberts was earlier chosen for this character but she ultimately turned it down. Given how Sandra ended up doing justice to the role, we bet that the artist is delighted with her decision to play the Tuohy mom. Her meticulous attention to every detail undoubtedly paid off as she bagged an Oscar for her stint in ‘The Blind Side.’
