Melissa Gilbert – 54 Years Old
Melissa Gilbert introduced herself to the world as a child star of the late ‘60s, when she started out with several commercials and minor TV roles. It was when she was cast on Little House on the Prairie between 1974 and 1983 that her career really gained traction, and her name became a household name.
Of course, we all have our demons, and for Gilbert, it was substances and alcohol, but she wrote a publication about her struggles when she sobered in 2009. Fortunately, she has $500K to her name after her ordeal.
