Reason Behind The Condition
While Joyce had made a decision to sell out the years-old magnificent house, she was not ready to let go of the furniture which was priceless in her sight. For her, it was important to make sure that they remain well-maintained, and for that reason, she passed these belongings to her daughter.
We can totally understand the old woman’s emotions considering that most of the furniture items were antique and had been preserved for so many years. For someone who had spent an entire life in taking care of her abode, they were too valuable to be sold.
