When activist for civil rights Reverend Al Sharpton wanted to lose his excess pounds, he said goodbye to his bad eating habits and embraced new ones. People were surprised to see him shrink down to such a smaller version of his former self, as he lost 176 pounds. Initially, he stopped eating meat.
Then he tightened up on his diet and had liquids daily, except for a salad consisting of hard-boiled eggs, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. Sharpton is known for his hour-long political talk show on MSNBC called PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton, which transitioned into a once-per-week format in October 2015.
