Kenny Baker – Chronic Lung Condition
This English actor made his mark in 1977’s ‘Star Wars’ film as R2D2 and appeared in the same franchise multiple times. Kenny Baker started with theatre and even used to perform in the circus before hitting the big screen and portraying various comedic roles in numerous movies thanks to his unique height of 3 feet and 8 inches.
Baker suffered a life-long chronic condition in his lungs and eventually left this world at the age of 81. The actor always wanted to go peacefully, and his wish came true in 2016 when he passed away in his sleep and was found in bed the next morning.
