These Body-Painted Models Are Wearing Nothing but Optical Illusions and Confidence!

Ocean Cruise, Museum Edition

Gesine Marwedel decided painting the ocean on canvas was too cliche, so she became the canvas herself. The little ship and crew on her body look like they’re casually enjoying a lazy Sunday voyage riding the waves across her torso, complete with delicate butterflies floating alongside as if this whole voyage is happening in a dream.

Framing herself with a gold frame is a confident move, proving she knows how well this turned out. The art piece is peak museum energy, the kind tourists would flock to snap selfies with. You can’t blame her, though. Anyone who painted a masterpiece like this would do the same, if not more.
