Shape-Shifting Never Looked Better
Renowned cosplayer Nadya Sonika decided to give her take on playing shape-shifter, except this version of Mystique had to stand still for hours while every scale was painted. The dedication is unmatched, and Nadya looks like she just walked off an “X-Men” set. If Mystique ever needed a stunt double, it’s safe to say Nadya would be a clear favorite.
The detailing is so on point that it almost feels like she’s mid-mutation, frozen right before switching identities. The piercing yellow eyes, slicked-back red hair, and textured blue skin are so spot-on that security might check her for actual mutant abilities if she showed up at Comic-Con.
