On “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2017, Nicole Kidman didn’t hold back when tasting Giada De Laurentiis’ focaccia. The Academy Award-winning actress, famous for “Moulin Rouge!” and “Big Little Lies,” joined the celebrity chef for a cooking segment that quickly turned awkward.
As the celebrated cook guided them through the recipe, she playfully questioned Nicole’s kitchen skills. But when the food was ready, the Australian star took a bite and immediately struggled to chew. After a long pause, she bluntly stated, “It’s a little tough.” Giada defended her dish, but the actress’ reaction said it all. Ellen DeGeneres watched on, barely containing her laughter.
