Jennifer Garner Calls Out Conan O’Brien—And Gets Schooled Instead
In 2003, actress Jennifer Garner, the breakout star of “Alias,” sat down with host Conan O’Brien on “Late Night” and made a bold move—correcting his grammar on live TV. When he used the word “snuck,” she confidently interjected, “Snuck isn’t a word, and you went to Harvard, and you should know that.”
Given that Conan graduated from an Ivy League school and even led the humor publication Harvard Lampoon, he wasn’t about to let that slide. With a smirk, he pulled out a dictionary, flipped to the word, and pointed it out. Jennifer immediately realized her mistake, covering her face in embarrassment as the audience roared with laughter.
