If you watched TV in the 1980s, you definitely remember Patrick Duffy. He became a household name as Bobby Ewing on “Dallas,” the good-hearted brother caught in endless family feuds and shocking plot twists.
When his character was killed off in 1985, fans were outraged, but the show pulled one of TV’s wildest moments—a year later, Bobby reappeared in the shower, and everything that happened was “just a dream.” Before that, he played a water-breathing superhero in “Man from Atlantis,” and in the 1990s, he switched gears with the family sitcom “Step by Step,” starring as the lovable dad, Frank Lambert.
