Linda Evans – Born in 1942

In the 1980s, no one embodied glamour and grace on TV quite like Linda Evans. She was pure elegance as Krystle Carrington in “Dynasty,” the show that turned catfights and diamonds into prime-time gold. Before that, she saddled up in “The Big Valley” during the 1960s, holding her own next to Barbara Stanwyck and Lee Majors.
By the time “Dynasty” ruled the ratings, she was one of television’s biggest stars. She picked up a Golden Globe in 1981 and became a household name worldwide. After stepping away from acting in 1989, she surprised fans years later by winning the British show “Hell’s Kitchen” in 2009.
