The show’s catchy tunes and family charm turned her into a teen idol almost overnight. In 1986, she made a bold comeback as attorney Grace Van Owen on “L.A. Law,” a role that won her a Golden Globe and garnered her critical respect. Between the music bus and the courtroom, she showed Hollywood she could do it all.
