Clint Eastwood – Born in 1930

Clint Eastwood built a Hollywood legacy that’s as tough and timeless as the characters he played. He first caught attention as Rowdy Yates in “Rawhide,” but it was the 1960s spaghetti westerns that made him a superstar. “A Fistful of Dollars,” “For a Few Dollars More,” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” turned him into a global icon of cool.
His film “Unforgiven” in 1992 earned Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director, as well as “Million Dollar Baby” in 2004. In 1986, he became mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, proving that even off-screen, he was still calling the shots like a true legend.
