Jane Powell – 90, $40.5 million
Jane Powell, originally born as Suzanne Burce, had a taste of prominence in her appearances in musicals for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Thanks to her timeless beauty and impressive acting, she landed notable roles in films like A Date With Judy and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
In the ’50s, as she rose to prominence, she transitioned into television, including having a role on Law and Order. But in the late ’50s, her movie career became slow, so she started acting in the theater instead. She moved to New York in 1985 with her husband, the late actor, Dickie Moore. Powell sometimes works with the theater where she’s located.
