Vera Lynn – 102, $20 million
Today, Vera Lynn occupies herself with philanthropy, helping disabled people, ex-servicemen, and breast cancer patients. She made a big name for herself as she entertained troops and soldiers during the Second World War in India, Egypt, and Burma. She did concerts outside delivering favorites such as There’ll Always Be An England, The White Cliffs of Dover, and We’ll Meet Again.
Her name scored highly in the entertainment field after the war and she appeared in numerous radio and televisions shows with her top hits. In 2017, she became the oldest artist to hit the top 20 in UK album charts as she celebrated her 100th birthday.
