Ian McDiarmid: 75 years, $10 Million
Becoming a theater aficionado at just five years old, when visiting a stage actor with his father, Ian McDiarmid knew he wanted to be a part of the theater. Living the dream, Ian made his stage debut in ‘Hamlet’ all the way back in 1972! Starring in more Shakespeare plays, and even directing some, his finesse on stage won him a Tony award!
Ian finally took a break from theatre when his 1983 casting as ‘Emperor Palpatine’ in the ‘Star Wars’ series became a hit. Since then, reprising the major role has been his career highlight, and the actor even made a comeback in ‘Rise of Skywalker’ at 74!
