Carleton Carpenter – 95, More Than $1 Million
Carleton Carpenter was fortunate to find success in all his ventures. He started out in acting, mostly getting supporting roles, and then veered into songwriting before finding himself to be a successful novelist in the ‘70s and ‘80s! He composed materials for Kaye Ballard, Debbie Reynolds, and even Hermione Gingold, as well as scripts for TV and films.
One of the books he authored called Dea*head even found its way as a musical on Broadway! In 2015, it was reported that Carpenter was into stage acting. In 2016, Carpenter released a memoir called The Absolute Joy of Work.
