Annie Ross – 88, $19.5 million
Annie Ross, who was born in Britain, became popular after becoming a member of the Lambert, Hendricks & Ross band, known for their amazing vocal interpretations and love for jazz music. At seven years old, Ross was on Presenting Lily Mars in 1943, as the sister of Judy Garland’s character. Also, in Our Gang Follies of 1938, she sang The Bonnie Banks o’ Loch Lomond.
Although her professional life was amazing, Ross has had some hard times privately as she battled drug addiction during the ‘60s, which almost cost her her career. However, the singer managed to overcome her addiction and put things under control, even becoming an American citizen in 2001.
