When an Olympic diver and an Oscar-winning screenwriter lock eyes, magic happens. Tom Daley met Dustin Lance Black in 2013 at a dinner in Los Angeles, and sparks flew. The pair began dating that same year and announced their engagement in 2015. They married in 2017 at a castle in Devon, England.
In 2018, they welcomed their sons, Phoenix and Robbie, via surrogacy. Tom is famous for his Olympic diving achievements, while Dustin wrote the award-winning film “Milk.” Together, they’re vocal advocates for LGBTQ rights, parenting equality, and surrogacy access. Interestingly, Tom’s knitting hobby went viral in 2021 during the Tokyo Olympics.
