Some celebs bring a clutch to the Met Gala. Jared Leto brought… his own head. For the 2019 event, themed “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” he showed up in a blood-red Gucci gown covered in crystal chains and high-drama embellishments. The real conversation starter, though, wasn’t the dress; it was the hyper-realistic replica of his head tucked casually under his arm.
Equal parts creepy and genius, the prop was inspired by Gucci’s runway and quickly became one of the most unforgettable moments of the night. He’s known for his Oscar-winning role in “Dallas Buyers Club,” his friendship with Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, and his fearless style choices.
