Some called it an omelet. Others said it looked like pizza. But no one could take their eyes off Rihanna when she arrived at the 2015 Met Gala in that yellow Guo Pei gown. The theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass,” and she nailed it.
The look featured a fur-lined cape with an embroidered train that stretched across the stairs like royalty on parade. It weighed about 55 pounds and took two years to make. Before she ruled red carpets, she ruled the charts with hits like “Umbrella,” “Diamonds,” and “We Found Love.” Her empire includes Fenty Beauty, Savage X Fenty, and a whole lot of Grammy wins.
