Katy Perry knows the Met Gala is not just fashion, it’s performance art. In 2019, she arrived dressed as a literal chandelier, lights and all. The custom Moschino look featured a crystal-covered corset, mini dress, and giant light-up chandelier structure hanging from her waist and headpiece.
It was pure camp and pure Katy, glowing like a beacon of over-the-top brilliance on the red carpet. But the outfit switch made it even better. Once inside the museum, she changed into a full cheeseburger costume, complete with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a giant bun hat. These looks sealed her Met Gala status as the queen of fashion fun.
