Cardi B knows how to make an entrance, and the 2019 Met Gala was no exception. She arrived wrapped in a custom Thom Browne creation that looked like high-fashion royalty collided with a red feather explosion. The crimson gown featured a 10-foot train made from 30,000 feathers, plus crystal-studded gloves and a matching headpiece.
Even her chest was adorned with ruby nipple covers. Cardi went from viral reality star on “Love & Hip Hop” to Grammy-winning rap superstar with hits like “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.” In 2019, she became the first solo female rapper to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys.
