Lady Gaga showed up to the 2016 Met Gala looking like she had just hacked her way out of a futuristic nightclub. The theme was “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” and she nailed it in a circuit board-inspired Atelier Versace blazer. She paired it with a metallic bodysuit, fishnets, and her trademark 10-inch platform boots, which defy gravity and logic.
Big hair, bold makeup, and even bolder attitude completed the look. She’s famous for pop hits like “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” and “Born This Way,” plus her Oscar-winning turn in “A Star Is Born.” By 2018, her Joanne World Tour had raked in $95 million.
