At the 2024 Met Gala, Lana Del Rey looked like she stepped straight out of a hauntingly beautiful fairytale. She wore a custom Alexander McQueen gown designed by Seán McGirr, featuring layers of silk georgette and tulle wrapped in bronze hawthorn branches. The twisted branches crept around her body and bloomed into a crown of real hawthorn twigs, all draped in a ghostly veil.
The look paid homage to McQueen’s 2006 “Widows of Culloden” collection, blending gothic romance with woodland magic. She became a global star with songs like “Video Games” and “Summertime Sadness,” and by 2024, she had added headlining Fenway Park to her long list of achievements.
