Ian McKellen’s house reflects his diverse and rich career ranging from television, screen, and stage, both modern and Shakespearean. The eighty-year-old English actor and recipient of numerous awards and two British Royal orders lives in a five-storied house at Narrow Street, Limehouse district, which he bought in the 80s.
McKellen holds this place to heart, especially due to its proximity to the River Thames, and he also had the place renovated in 2000. The actor apparently loves the magnificent scenery of the Tower Bridge and the Canary Wharf so much that he lives here till now.
