Janis Paige – 96, $5 million
Janis Paige started out as a singer at a Hollywood canteen where she was hired after she graduated from high school. Her potential was noticed by Warner Bros. where she earned her first contract. Janis’ initial appearance on television was in 1957 on Lux Video Theatre. Other TV shows she was in were The Fugitive and Eight Is Enough.
Eventually, with her increasing fame, she got her own Hollywood Walk of Fame star located at 6624 Hollywood Blvd in the ‘60s. However, in 2001, Janis suffered from irreparable vocal-cord damage, and sadly, she lost her voice. Thankfully, she was introduced to a doctor named Bruce Eckstut who helped her regain it.
