Reality Looks Drunk and Disorderly in Every Single One of These Photos!

No Trophies, Only Black Eyes Today

Tempers boiled over during the 1985 AFC Divisional playoff game when Matt Millen decided to throw a wild punch at New England Patriots general manager Patrick Sullivan. The linebacker, still full of postgame fury after the Los Angeles Raiders’ unexpected loss, lunged at Patrick near the tunnel, creating one of the most chaotic sideline brawls ever.

The aftermath looked more like a barroom scuffle than anything fit for a professional football field. Matt’s right hook found its mark, while everyone else around them appeared caught between trying to break it up and wondering whether they should duck too. Sportsmanship had taken the last bus out of the stadium.
