High above the court at Toyota Center in Houston, one fearless Houston Rockets cheerleader decided dancing was too tame and took a shot at basketball glory. With a ball gripped overhead and legs kicked back mid-flight, she looked ready to dunk on anyone doubting her career crossover.
That wide grin said everything about the kind of energy it took to pull off a move that looked part slam dunk, part Olympic floor routine. Captured mid-air in 2008, she pulled off a frozen moment where ambition met gravity head-on. Fans came for basketball, but they got some bonus highlight reels straight from the cheer squad.
