Raspy-voiced New York rapper, DMX is undoubtedly one of the most influential hip-hop artists of all time. Born Earl Simmons, the 50-year-old gifted star had seven successful studio albums to his name by the time he passed away on April 9, 2021. Some of his chart-topping singles included the gospel hit Lord Give Me A Sign.
Fame and fortune tend to flock together in most cases, and the rap legend was no exception. In 2000, the musician and his wife Tashera bought a lovely house in Mount Kisco, New York, for $649,000. The home would later undergo foreclosure due to financial woes.
