Daniel Jones and Ella Bonafede’s story started at Duke University, where he led the football team and she dominated on the lacrosse field. They dated throughout college, and by 2019, she was cheering him on as he was drafted by the New York Giants.
While they’ve kept things private, she made headlines when she posted a sweet message celebrating his big NFL moment. Ella has earned a degree in evolutionary biology and global health from Duke, followed by a master’s in public health from NYU. Now, she’s making an impact in diabetes research as a senior program manager at Breakthrough T1D.
