Pat Sajak – 74, $70 million
Weatherman and TV personality Pat Sajak is also popular for being the host of Wheel of Fortune. It was in 1968 that Sajak’s career took off, initially disc-jockeying for the Armed Forces Radio. He was offered the opportunity to host Wheel of Fortune in 1981 by Merv Griffin.
However, there was a turn of events when he was rejected by NBC’s CEO. Griffin threatened to shut the network down, and NBC relented. In October 2018, the month he turned 72, Sajak signed a contract extension reaching to 2022 for Wheel of Fortune! It’s amazing how fate works things out! Sajak is married to Lesly Brown Sajak, a professional photographer.
