Jimi Hendrix: Had To Choose Between Army Or Prison
As a 19-year-old who was found guilty against theft charges, Jimi Hendrix didn’t have a choice other than joining the Army to escape imprisonment. Yes, that’s how the super talented electric guitarist got there – it was never a plan, but then it happened somehow.
Although he was not much interested in training and found it torturous, he managed to finish the paratrooper training in less than a year, only to be honorably discharged soon. As much as the world of pop music was blessed to have found a talent like him, it was equally unfortunate that Jimi passed away at such an early age.
