The former baseball participant and supervisor Joe Maddon met his current wife at the Rossmoor Athletic Club in Seal Beach, California, in 1995. At this time, Joe was a seat mentor for the Los Angeles Angels, and Jaye worked in an office as a bookkeeper. They both started as friends, but their friendship soon developed into a deeper affection.
