John Wayne, best known for portraying cavalrymen and cowboys in most of his movies, was one of the biggest acting legends of the old Hollywood. Nicknamed as Duke, the actor used to live in a 4,500 sq. ft. house in Newport Beach, California with his wife Pilar Pallete.
The resplendent mansion has three master bedrooms with a luxurious bathroom adjoining each. The property also includes a wooden paneled library that was the film star’s favorite room in the entire home. This house was sold after the death of the movie icon and since then its history has become something that makes it extra special.
