A Reddit user shared this icy adventure, proving that a $50 Walmart tent technically can withstand a brutal overnight snowstorm—if you don’t mind waking up buried in it. According to his post, he braved 2 to 3 feet of snowfall, and at one point, the tent walls started closing in on him under the weight of the snow.
He managed to dig his way out just in time, laughing off what could have been a real-life snow cave survival scenario. Judging by his grin, you’d think he just conquered Everest, not spent the night in a budget tent fighting for elbow room against collapsing walls.
