He had a hand in decorating the abode, which is filled with artworks and baubles the fashion icon acquired from auctions.

Talley, the editor-at-large at ‘Vogue’ Magazine for 15 years is well-known for being the first African American male creative director hired by the publication. Aside from his work as a journalist, television fans best remember him as one of the judges on ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ who often exclaimed superlatives to describe the contestants.

Back in the ‘90s, world-renowned fashion designer Gianni Versace suffered a terrible fate after being killed in his own residence in Miami. It was a mansion known as the Casa Casuarina and it was lavish inside and on the outside. It featured a mosaic-tiled pool which had 24-karat gold, and inside were ten lavish bedrooms and eleven bathrooms.

Initially, it was listed for $124 million, however, perhaps due to its history, it was only sold for $47 million. After years of being owned by Versace, it has now become a boutique hotel called the Villa Casa Casuarina.

Cindy Crawford: $60 Million, Malibu

Cindy Crawford reached celebrity status as a supermodel; in fact, before even landing roles in films and on TV, she walked the runways for Chanel, Versace, Christian Dior, Michael Kors, and even DKNY. This eventually led her to also gain traction in the acting industry.

Cindy appeared in multiple films and fitness videos, including Fair Game as Kate McQueen, Unzipped as herself, and on The Simian Line as Sandra. With her huge income, she invested in a 5,200-square-foot beachfront home located in Malibu for around $60 million. Even at the age of 52, Cindy, alongside Carla Bruni, and other big names, closed the Versace spring fashion show in 2018.
