In the two decades of his professional basketball career, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar became well-recognized as one of the most exceptional players the sport has ever seen. Post-retirement, too, he was closely associated with the game as a coach, earning fame and fortune throughout.
One of the many perks of being a rich and famous sportsman is the many luxurious homes they get to live in. Kareem’s memorable home remains the gorgeous Marina Del Rey property in Los Angeles that he purchased for around $1.5 million in 2011. Five years later, he put it up for sale for almost double the price. The 3,200 square feet multilevel mansion featured vaulted ceilings, winding staircases, and marble floors.
