Mel Brooks: Former Landmine Defuser
For someone who is known for a comic flair, it’s slightly hard to believe that he had a past career in the army. On top of that – his responsibility as a corporal was no easy job. During his term in the 78th infantry section, Brooks was tasked with defusing land mines till the time the war came to a concluding halt.
Once his days of national duty were over, Brooks pursued a career in entertainment which brought him immense popularity as an actor, comedian, and a filmmaker. The star might be old now but slowing down as a professional doesn’t seem to be anywhere on his list.
