Perhaps you were not expecting a musician like Willie Nelson to be on this list, but the truth is, he happens to be an ex-army serviceman. Back in 1950, he registered in the Air Force but had to be discharged within 8-9 months due to health problems.
However, he continued with his education upon returning, only to realize soon that music was his actual calling. But before he could embark on a new expedition as an artist, Nelson took several jobs to meet his expenses. Ultimately, the singer’s endurance paid off, and the journey that started with a humble beginning led him towards stardom that remained for life.
